INGREDIENTS:

1 cup shredded purple cabbage
1 cup chopped cilantro
1 T of olive oil
18-20 breasted dove
1 lime
2 tsp. chili powder (if desired)
2 tsp. cumin (if desired)
Salt & Pepper to taste
1⁄2 cup chopped white onion
24 street taco corn tortillas
If desired, sliced avocado, sour cream, pico de gallo or salsa

DIRECTIONS:

– Toss the cabbage in lime juice.
– Bring olive oil to medium high heat in a skillet. Add the dove until cooked thoroughly.
– Season with salt, pepper, chili powder and cumin.
– Toast or grill the tortillas to your liking, just to get them a little warm and toasty. – Put two tortillas together and fill with dove.
– Add onions, cilantro and cabbage. Garnish with avocado or add sour cream, pico de gallo or your favorite salsa.
